I made this in 2023, just after leaving my full-time job. Pandan Dreams was only an idea then, and I was both so eager to begin and yet, completely unsure of the next step. Making this piece grounded me. It became a way to sit with uncertainty, and to build something small and contained when everything else felt open-ended.
Like a memory you can’t fully place, this mystical lagoon speaks to the sleepy palette of ‘90s Precious Thots memorabilia I grew up with.

✦ Made from non-toxic thermoplastic dyed with mica powders, sealed with a UV-resistant topcoat.
✦ Thermoplastic is sensitive to heat. Please keep your handmade piece in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and open flames.
✦ In case of spillages, clean with a soft sponge & mild soap, then pat dry with a microfibre cloth. Avoid alcohol-based cleaners.
✦ Kindly note this material is not food-safe.
